Frosted Animal Cookie Magnets

$12.00

These frosted animal cookie magnets represent, to me, one of the many things I longed for as a kid but was denied because we were so poor. Even the basics like water and food were a struggle to obtain. So, while not technically southern, they are a nod to where we come from and where we land.

These frosted cookie magnets are hand-shaped with a sturdy white stoneware clay, twice fired in a ceramic kiln, and glazed with pink and white glossy glaze. Post firing, glass “sprinkles” are added to the cookies to complete the look! The magnets on the back of these are POWERFUL. These magnets come as a set of 4 random cookies.

Magnets

If you've ever visited my house, you’d know that I am obsessed with food-shaped magnets. I live in a converted loft and have lots of random metal support beams, which have now been turned into displays for my rapidly growing magnet collection. The magnets featured here are handmade with stoneware clay and are twice-fired to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. As these items are handmade, please expect slight imperfections.
